Kiln Dried Oak Lumber

What it is: This is the upstream material for our lamella line, also sold on its own. Logs come from Eastern European sources, are sawn and kiln dried in house, batched by thickness, re-measured after the kiln, end sealed and stacked by thickness. It suits factories that run their own cutting shop and want to control yield against their own cutting list.

Standard sizes: 26 / 32 / 38 / 50 mm thick. Edged boards are sized on both edges for predictable yield; unedged boards keep their natural width so you can nest your own parts. Lengths follow the log; specific lengths can be cut to order.

Drying: The moisture curve is logged through the whole kiln cycle. Shipping moisture content is 8–12%, and the kiln record travels with the goods, traceable to the kiln charge. Ends are sealed against checking and packs are stacked for airflow.

Grades: AB / C / ABCD / DE / EF / F, sorted on colour, knots, worm holes and surface checks, judged against the sample both sides approved. If you want your own company standard applied, state it in the contract.
